Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition that affects a woman’s hormone levels and makes it harder for them to get their periods and get pregnant. The rise of male hormones in your body causes excess facial hair(The most seen sign of PCOS), Acne and other imbalances in the body.

Modern science has no cure for the Polycystic ovarian syndrome and they say it cannot be cure completely once it is there. Changes in your Diet and Regular exercises can help in the symptoms of PCOS  and sometimes help in curing it completely.

Science helps in getting your periods back and even helps you in conceiving or getting you pregnant but, One can be on medications and get their periods back but, as long as you take medications only. 1) Pratyahara Food consumption

For the nourishment of the body and fulfilling the deficiencies of the body therein, the intake of food is essential. You need to pay attention to your diet as If you are not eating food which increases inflammation in your body or too much of eating the same type of food. By improving your diet alone many diseases can also be treated. That is why it is said that food is medicine.

Eating food which is fresh, Not processed, Chemical free, Preservative free and Violence-free(Vegetarian) should be added to your diet. Too much of eating or less of eating are the disorders you should take care of. Everybody is different and not everybody responds to all food in the same manner. You need to give up which is not good for your body.

There are some good food habits and remedies you can add for the better results:

  • Eat fresh and Uncooked food.
  • Stay away from sugar, It is your sweetest enemy.
  • Drink a sufficient quantity of water during the day.
  • Use flour without straining the chaff and always add vegetable double the amount while having flour chapatis or bread.
  • Avoid taking dairy product but you can have buttermilk once in a while.
  • There should be a gap of 5 hours in both the meal.
  • Have vegetable juices like Cabbage juice, Beetroot juice, and Raw bottle guard juice.
  • Reduce the use of salt and spices as they are inflammatory food.
  • Basil, black pepper and honey should be taken together once every day.
  • Fenugreek seeds should be soaked overnight and then drink the water with honey or you can chew the seeds it would be great.
  • Add anti-inflammatory foods in your diet like Ginger, Garlic, Cummin, and Cloves.

You are your own owner so pay attention to your body reactions to the different variety of food. It will not take more than a week and you’ll understand your body like no one can ever do.

2) Asana Physical Exercises

Asana or Physical practice helps a lot in managing your body health state. To lose that extra pounds, To feel fresh and charge all day, To breath with full capacity and of course to live disease-free. Here are some mentioned asana helpful in treating PCOS.
